Once upon
a time, two idealistic dreamers were married. Both artists
in a way, somehow went in other directions — such is life,
they say. So they did what came naturally — make babies
and instill them with ideals. Their babies also became dreamers,
and some of them made theirs who are the wild ones -- dreamers
and angels. Here are some images of them ~

The gorgeous ones enjoying a moment in their own Eden —
noticing the flowers and flight of birds....from infancy
to adulthood...

My mother with two angels — Sukaina and Ali

Rukshan in Central Park, NY reminding us of life’s sweetnesses

What’s wrong with the world? Why are people fighting?
Let there be peace on earth and it began with me...

Mother striking the chords, singing the stories to life
...

The dreamy-eyed one, Shamir, and we wondering...

My father with the champion

Aku in her young growing years...

What magicians do to move the world...!

Heartstrings
by Ambika Talwar
baby smiles
melodies
questioning eyes
mischief no end of it
crunchy
cereal on the floor
crawling to the door
wet nappies
little
hands
like monkey paws
cover the face
eat the crunches
hide from nana
grey years
wrapped
in green shirt
he watches
then answers
with a grin
wide and happy — so sweet
these moving touches with time
it’s a
game
called heartstrings.

"...When I was just a little girl, I asked my mother..."

A portrait of the mother of the angels

Babiya romping in the park with Baby Shiraz

Look, I fly like an angel, don’t I? You are one...

Waiting and watching...

Just me...again... some years later...”
